First a defensive castle, then a pleasure residence, the Gy castle was owned by the Archbishops of Besançon for over 700 years. Its magnificent octagonal tower gives it unrivalled distinction. First a public school, then a private residence, it now displays fully refurbished 18th-century apartments, providing an insight into the life of the archbishops at the time. There's also a wine museum to commemorate Gy's rich wine-growing past.
The vineyard extends over 43 hectares, from Gy to Charcenne. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are available in "Classic" for the youngest vines. The "Vieilles Vignes" for the vines of 25 years and more and the "Reserved Collection" from a single vineyard, of more than 50 years, on Gy.
Other more exotic varieties are alsopresent on the Charcennais hillsides: Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon, Savagnin, Viognier… for the white ones.

The Fondremand Arts and Crafts Days have been held every year since 1974.
These days bring together arts and crafts (pottery, wooden toys, blown glass, etc.), international folk groups, street entertainment, sound and light shows...
The event's renown extends far beyond the borders of the region, attracting more than 20,000 visitors every year.
You can also visit the town by taking the "Découverte de Fondremand" hiking trail, nearly 3 km (1,86 mi) long (less than an hour). There's also a pleasant picnic area.
The International Asian Film Festival (FICA) in Vesoul was established in 1995. Withnearly 30,000 admissions for 90 films per edition, this is the largest and oldest Asian film festival in the world. It is the only festival to present films from the entire Asian continent, from the Near to the Far East.
The LUDOLAC is a water park of nearly 3 hectares located in the countryside. It fits perfectly into the recreation and activities area of Vesoul-Vaivre Lake. It islocated a few metersfrom the campsite of Vesoul-Vaivre Lake. You can relax with your family in a natural setting. Come and cool off in the large 50-metre pool, have fun in our slide, relax in the bubble pools, picnic in the shaded green area... not forgetting the paddling pool for young children and the newly installed beach volleyball court.
The cave of Solborde is located some 20 metres behind the chapel of the same name. This small open cavity at the foot of the cliff lets out a thin stream, intermittent in summer. You cannot visit the inside of the cave, but you can see it very well from the outside.
